Bourgeois Down East GAC All Koa Launch Edition

Bourgeois already has a successful collaboration with Eastman in the form of the Touchstone series, but with the new Down East Series they are taking it one step further!

The guitars in this series are built entirely to Bourgeois' specifications in China, with the Lewiston team overseeing the entire process. This allows Bourgeois to offer its signature balance, dynamic range, and responsiveness to more guitarists than ever before, thanks to the exceptionally competitive prices.

This beautiful GAC is part of the Down East Launch Edition, and for this series, Dana Bourgeois personally hand-voiced the first 125 pieces in his iconic style. Bourgeois thus sets the standard for the series' sound, and a close listen to this GAC reveals a compelling case! As the name suggests, the GAC is a Grand Auditorium with a cutaway and is a remarkably versatile model in the Bourgeois lineup.

Bourgeois used Koa for both the back and sides, resulting in a guitar that not only looks beautiful but also sounds fantastic. The koa provides a warm and balanced sound with beautiful clarity. Bourgeois spared no expense on the other details either, with both the bridge and fingerboard made of ziricote, featuring an ebony headstock overlay.

The guitar comes in a hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
