Collings City Limits Sunburst #12 2006

After the unprecedented success of its acoustic guitars, Collings introduced three electric models at NAMM in the summer of 2006, including the City Limits. This version is #12 from the series of prototypes, making it part of a very special series of instruments. Like every Collings, this City Limits is of the highest quality in terms of finish, playability and sound.

The quilted maple top makes this City Limits an absolute eye-catcher, with the subtle sunburst giving the beautiful wood that little bit of extra depth. The mahogany body has graceful contours and, combined with its relatively low weight, makes for an extremely comfortable guitar. In terms of details, it is richly appointed with ivoroid, found on the control knobs, tuner buttons, bindings and cover plates.

This Collings City Limits from 2006 has light playwear and two small paint repairs on the top, as well as light playwear on the back of the body. It also shows light playwear on the top, body and neck. The guitar is otherwise clean and comes supplied in a TKL hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
