With a powerful, warm fundamental voice and a dry character, this model delivers a tone with a full low end that immediately feels familiar to bluegrass players. At the same time, the instrument’s responsive articulation remains versatile enough for fingerstyle, singer-songwriters, and other acoustic styles.

This guitar is built with an Adirondack spruce top and Honduran mahogany back and sides, resulting in a rich tonal spectrum with plenty of dynamics. The top features a sunburst finish with a carefully hand-poured pickguard and rosette that highlight the visual character of the Hill Country series. The ebony fingerboard is adorned with elegant mother-of-pearl dot inlays and features a compound radius for optimal playing comfort.

The OM1A HC includes a fully adjustable truss rod, a mortise & tenon hybrid neck joint, and a cut-through aged bone saddle, ensuring clarity and balance across the entire fretboard. The Honduran mahogany neck has a unique Hill Country neck profile that transitions from Modified C to Modified V, and is finished in an ultra-thin high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood’s natural resonance to fully shine through.
