Eastman Lady Moon Signature Octave Mandolin

The Eastman Lady Moon Signature is an A-style octave mandolin designed together with Celtic player Eva ‘Lady Moon’ Trout. Its solid spruce top over laminated mahogany gives it a warm, woody voice, while the crescent-moon inlays and lunar moth pickguard make it just as charming to look at as it is to play.

Eastman has earned a strong reputation for handcrafted instruments that offer far more than their price suggests, and this signature model is a fine example of that. It was developed with Eva Trout, better known online as Lady Moon, whose Celtic playing has introduced a whole new audience to the octave mandolin. Inspired by her own beloved vintage instrument, she set out to create something that would help others fall in love with playing the way she did. With its 21" scale length and 35 mm nut, the Lady Moon feels right at home in the hands of players who know their way around the octave mandolin.

This mandolin has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
