Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty 6 Iced Crimson 2015

The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty is the result of John Petrucci’s pursuit of performance, playability and race-inspired design. It is one of the most ergonomic and perfectly balanced instruments available. The Majesty features a neck-through-body construction, exceptional upper and lower fret access, an ergonomically positioned in-line control knob and new digital pickup switching technology that eliminates the delay when selecting pickups. It is the embodiment of a John Petrucci signature model, combining innovative technology, versatile performance and a sleek, modern feel.

The comfortable, contoured body features a mahogany neck-through construction with basswood wings and a maple top, creating a unique tonal combination that delivers beautiful warmth and resonance rarely expected from a solidbody guitar. This construction also provides tremendous sustain. One of the Majesty’s distinctive features is its laser-engraved maple top, which is shaped like a shield and has a striking carbon-fiber-inspired appearance.

Two DiMarzio Illuminator humbuckers, developed by DiMarzio in collaboration with Petrucci, deliver an enormous tonal range. The Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty moves from crystal-clear cleans through a wide variety of rich crunch tones to powerful, high-gain shred sounds. There is more: a custom-designed floating vibrato bridge with a piezo pickup allows for expressive whammy techniques while maintaining excellent tuning stability. The piezo system also provides access to a range of beautiful, nuanced acoustic tones. In terms of versatility, there is very little this exceptional guitar cannot do.

Construction of this Majesty was completed on July 16, 2015, and the guitar is in excellent condition. There is a glossy spot in the matte finish on the top, and the finish on the back of the neck has also developed some gloss. The bridge and control knobs show some signs of use, as do the finish around the controls on the side of the body and the tip of the headstock, where a few small scratches are visible.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
