Fender American Standard 60th Anniversary Stratocaster Olympic White Lefty 2012

Left-handed Stratocasters in this spec don't come around often, which makes this 2012 Fender American Standard 60th Anniversary a great find for southpaw players. Finished in classic Olympic White and made in the USA, it's in excellent condition and pairs the dependable American Standard platform with a hot-rodded bridge pickup for a bit of extra punch.

The American Standard has long been the benchmark for a working player's Stratocaster: USA-built, reliable and endlessly versatile. This 60th Anniversary edition carries all the hallmarks of the line, including an alder body, a maple neck with a comfortable C profile and a rosewood fingerboard, a 9.5" radius and the smooth two-point tremolo that made this generation so easy to live with.

Where this one differs from stock is the bridge position. The original single coil has been swapped for a Seymour Duncan humbucker in a single-coil-sized format, giving a fatter, higher-output bridge tone with the added benefit of hum cancellation, while the neck and middle positions keep the original American Standard single coils for those classic, chiming Strat sounds. It's a genuinely versatile setup that covers everything from sparkling cleans to thicker, rock-oriented bridge tones.

The guitar is in excellent condition and looks pretty clean throughout, with just one small paint chip on the edge of the armrest contour. At 3.6 kg it's an easy guitar to live with, and the slim C neck and 9.5" radius make for a fast, comfortable playing feel. It comes with a gigbag.
