The lightweight alder body features deep ’57-style contours and is finished in thin nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to resonate freely and the guitar to age beautifully. The quartersawn maple neck with a profile that tapers from Soft V to Large C feels solid yet supple, with a 12-inch radius fingerboard that makes bending effortless. The specially tuned single-coil pickups deliver a crystal-clear Strat sound with warm midtones and exactly the dynamics Johnson was looking for, combined with a vintage tremolo and clever details such as staggered tuning machines and the omitted tremolo cover.

This Eric Johnson Stratocaster was built in 2009; the body on January 23 and the neck on February 5 of that year. The guitar is well-maintained, and the protective plastic is still on the pickguard. An object can be found in the belly cut on the back of the body, just like on the top near the strap button behind the bridge. Additionally, we see discoloration from a wall hanger on either side of the neck.
