Fender's Japanese-built reissues from this period earned a strong reputation for their build quality and careful attention to detail, and this '62 model is a faithful tribute to the early-'60s Stratocaster. The striking Teal Green finish, paired with the vintage-correct spec of the reissue, makes for a genuinely head-turning instrument.

This Stratocaster has clearly been well looked after and remains in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of use. The alder body wears the Teal Green finish and a three-ply parchment pickguard, while the maple neck carries a slab rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, a 7.25" radius and vintage-style tuners, all the hallmarks of the early-'60s spec.

Three vintage-voiced single coils give this Strat its familiar character, from sparkling highs to a warm, vocal midrange. At just 3.6 kg it balances comfortably, and the slim '60s C neck profile fills the hand without ever feeling bulky, making this a Strat that's as easy to play as it is to enjoy. It comes complete with a hardshell case.
