Fender MIJ Jazz Bass Special Pewter 1987

Regular price € 999

(incl. 0 % VAT)

The Japanese Fender Special Jazz Bass rose to fame in the hands of none other than Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, who played a Pearl White model for years.

The bass didn't earn the name "Special" without reason; it features a combination of a Jazz Bass neck and a Precision Bass body. The pickup configuration consists of a P-Bass split-coil in the middle and a Jazz Bass single-coil in the bridge position. Both pickups have their own volume controls, and the tone can be adjusted via a TBX control knob.

This 1987 Jazz Bass Special is a true "player's instrument" that has clearly seen a lot of action over its nearly 40-year musical life. While there are signs of play and dings on the body and neck, the bass still looks great for its age. It is wonderfully resonant and plays and sounds fantastic!

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
