This 1974 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is a genuine piece of 1970s Fender history. The three-color sunburst is on full display featuring deep black alongside vibrant red and yellow, and the guitar possesses the look, feel, and tone that keep players coming back to 1970s Strats time and again.

By the mid-1970s, the Stratocaster had evolved into the rugged, stage-ready workhorse of the CBS era, characterized by its large headstock, maple neck, and solid ash body. This particular instrument embodies all those traits, from the "F"-stamped tuners to the six-saddle tremolo and, at 3.61 kg, it boasts the lighter weight typical of earlier '70s models. The maple neck, featuring a 7.25" radius rosewood fretboard, feels comfortable in the hand and delivers that classic vintage Fender playing experience.

The guitar is in excellent condition, with a finish that looks absolutely stunning. The lacquer retains a beautiful sheen, and the three original 1974 Fender "Grey Bottom" single-coil pickups provide that unmistakable '70s voice: crystal-clear highs and plenty of snap. The electronics remain original, including three 1974 CTS potentiometers and the three-way switch that was standard until 1977. Additionally, the guitar has received a new nut and a refret, ensuring it is ready for many years of playing enjoyment.
