Fender Telecaster Select Carved Maple Top 2012

The Fender Select Carved Maple Top Telecaster offers a refined take on Fender's very first solid body electric guitar, combining classic Telecaster character with premium materials and modern appointments. Its lightweight ash body is topped with a beautifully carved flame maple top, finished in a striking Amber gloss lacquer that perfectly highlights the figuring of the wood.

The flame maple neck features a comfortable Modern C profile, a satin lacquer finish and Fender's Bi Flex truss rod system for excellent stability. A compound radius flame maple fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets provides effortless playability across the entire neck, while the Fender Select Telecaster single coil pickups deliver the familiar Tele sound with plenty of clarity, bite and dynamic response. The no load tone control allows the bridge pickup to run without additional loading when fully opened, offering its pure, uncoloured voice.

This 2012 example remains in excellent condition and shows some honest signs of use. There is playwear on the back of the body along with a few dings on the side of the headstock. A distinctive interpretation of the classic Telecaster, this is a model that is encountered far less often than its traditional counterparts.
