Gibson Custom Shop J200 Junior Montana Rose 2014

The Gibson J200 Junior Montana Rose is a guitar that combines the specifications of two Jumbos; the guitar's body has the smaller size of the J185, but instead of the corresponding short scale length, the guitar features the longer 25.5-inch scale length of its big brother, the J200. This combination makes the J200 Junior a unique instrument in Gibson's lineup.

The guitar is constructed from a particularly beautiful quilted maple body, with the back being especially striking, and a Sitka spruce top. The finish is the dazzling and deep Montana Rose, the guitar's namesake and an ode to Gibson's current home base, Bozeman in Montana. The distinctive engraved pickguard adorns the body, as does a cream-colored binding.

Thanks to its longer scale length and Jumbo body, the guitar is a strummer par excellence and is a guitar born to support a singer-songwriter on stage. Thanks to the K&K Pure Mini pickup and strap button, the guitar is perfectly prepared for this, so nothing stands in the way of a place in the spotlight!

This Gibson J200 Junior is from 2014 and is in excellent condition. The front and back of the body show light signs of wear, and the pickguard also shows signs of use. Otherwise, the guitar is very clean and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and TFOA passport in the original case.
