Gibson's Custom Shop regularly surprises us with beautiful variations of their famous guitar models, and they don't hesitate to experiment with inlays and finishes!

For this SJ200, Gibson has chosen a dazzling Burgundy Mist finish, identical to the metallic Sparkling Burgundy finish introduced on the brand's electric hollow-bodies in the mid-1960s.

Since its inception in 1937, the Gibson SJ200 has earned its place as an icon in the world of acoustic guitars. With a rich history and a tone that has become legendary over the decades, the SJ200 proudly bears the title "King of the Flat-Tops." This SJ200 Original embodies everything that has made this model so beloved by generations of musicians. With its signature four-bar mustache bridge, striking engraved tortoiseshell pickguard, and refined pearloid crown fingerboard and headstock inlays, this guitar exudes the classic charm of its predecessors.

The Gibson SJ200's sound is as impressive as its looks. The combination of premium materials, such as the beautifully figured maple back and sides, and the craftsmanship with which this guitar is built results in an exceptional tone. With a warm, full tone and astonishing projection, the SJ200 offers an unparalleled sonic experience. The maple body gives the guitar clarity and definition in the highs, while the deep, rich bass provides a solid foundation for every chord and note. But what truly sets the SJ200 apart is its excellent resonance!

Comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
