Gibson L00 Studio Walnut Natural 2022

This 2022 Gibson L-00 Studio in Antique Natural pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with walnut back and sides, giving this compact icon a warm, focused voice with surprising projection for its size. The scalloped X-bracing and a hand-sprayed nitrocellulose finish keep it firmly in the tradition of Gibson's classic small-bodied flat-tops, while the onboard electronics make it just as ready for the stage as for the sofa at home.

The L-00 was born during the acoustic boom of the 1930s and quickly became a favourite among blues and folk players, prized for its punchy, articulate tone in a body that's easy to live with. This Studio version keeps that heritage intact with an all-solid build, Sitka spruce over walnut, adding walnut for the back and sides, a tonewood that sits beautifully between the warmth of mahogany and the clarity of rosewood.

This 2022 L-00 has picked up some light playing wear in the form of small superficial scratches and dings, mostly across the body. It still looks very clean and remains in excellent condition. It comes in a case with a TFOA passport.
