Gibson SJ200 Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst

To celebrate 100 Years of Gibson Flat Tops, Gibson Custom presents the SJ-200 Anniversary Limited Edition. Part of a special Anniversary Collection consisting of five iconic models, each limited to just 100 instruments, this exceptional SJ-200 is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana and pays tribute to Gibson's legendary "King of the Flat Tops."

This commemorative SJ-200 combines AAA figured maple back and sides with a premium bearclaw Sitka spruce top, delivering the powerful, balanced voice and striking appearance that have defined the model for generations. Multi ply binding with abalone top purfling and an abalone rosette further elevate its elegant design.

The two piece AA maple neck with a walnut center strip features a comfortable Round profile and is paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother of pearl graduated crown inlays. Gold Grover Imperial tuners, a bone nut and premium appointments throughout complete the luxurious specification. The iconic tortoise style pickguard features the traditional vines and flowers motif with abalone accents, while the rosewood moustache bridge is fitted with a bone saddle, TUSQ bridge pins and mother of pearl inlays.

Finished in Historic Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the SJ-200 Anniversary Limited Edition is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, allowing its rich acoustic voice to be faithfully reproduced on stage or in the studio. The discreet soundhole mounted controls preserve the guitar's classic appearance while offering easy access to volume and tone adjustments.

Since its introduction in 1937, the SJ-200 has stood as Gibson's flagship jumbo acoustic, admired for its impressive projection, balanced response and unmistakable visual presence. This Anniversary Edition celebrates that legacy with exceptional craftsmanship and premium materials, honouring a century of Gibson flat top guitar building.

The guitar comes in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
