Iris DF Natural 2023

Located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont, Iris Guitars began in 2018 as a division of Circle Strings. By combining modern manufacturing techniques with years of knowledge and experience, Iris refines the design and construction of fine guitar building while keeping the range of styles and options focused, delivering outstanding quality in a no-nonsense package.

Named after co-founder Dale Fairbanks, the DF is a slope shoulder dreadnought with a size similar to Gibson's J45. With a mahogany body and Sitka spruce top, the guitar has that typical sound that will give every singer-songwriter a warm feeling!

One of its most impressive features is that open-pore finish, which not only gives the instrument a full and open tonal character but also greatly enhances the comfort and feel. The result is a direct, lively voice with plenty of warmth.

This 2023 Iris is in excellent condition and shows only truly minimal playwear, in the form of a few small scratches on the body. There are also some light marks from a string winder on the headstock, next to the tuners. A Pure Mini pickup has been installed, so it is ready to plug in and perform, and it comes supplied in a hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
