The 50 Series guitars can be considered Lowden's Custom Shop. These guitars utilize the finest tonewoods, considered "Master Grade," the best of the best in both tone and appearance.

This Crossover features a Master Grade Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, complemented by a beautiful Master Grade Alpine Spruce top with bearclaw fretwork. For the ornamentation, Lowden has chosen figured koa binding and a rosette also made of koa with abalone. The five-piece neck is made of mahogany, purpleheart, and rosewood, with an ebony fingerboard. The comfortable GL Jazz profile makes the neck easy to play for both classical and regular acoustic guitarists. This makes the Lowden S50J not only a pleasure to look at, but also a joy to play! The guitar was built in 2021 and has only minimal playwear on the pickguard. It comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
