With the Original Series, George Lowden established himself as a skilled luthier with a distinctive approach to guitar design. The F25 has a beautiful, individual voice, with Indian rosewood back and sides delivering crystal-clear trebles and a strong yet well-defined bass response. The cedar top softens the attack and balances the pronounced lows and highs, resulting in a beautifully cohesive tonal character.

Lowden’s signature use of carefully selected tonewoods, matched to the highest standards, makes the F25 as visually appealing as it is impressive acoustically. Mahogany binding, complemented by wooden purfling and a matching rosette, completes the understated yet refined appearance. This 2024 Lowden F25 has a few minor scratches on the pickguard and only very light signs of play on the top and bridge. Overall, it remains in near-mint condition.
