Martin 00028EC Eric Clapton 2000

Since its introduction in 1996, the Martin 00028EC has become one of Martin's most celebrated signature models. Developed in collaboration with Eric Clapton, it combines the warm, balanced voice of the 000 body with vintage-inspired appointments and exceptional playing comfort. Sharing its body shape with the Orchestra Model but featuring a shorter 24.9 inch scale length, the 00028EC offers a relaxed feel that is particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing.

Built with a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, this model delivers the rich bass response, clear trebles and impressive balance that have made it a favourite among players for decades. The Modified V mahogany neck, 1.76 inch nut width and ebony fingerboard provide a comfortable playing experience, while details such as the Diamond & Squares inlays and Eric Clapton's signature inlaid between the 19th and 20th frets give the guitar its distinctive character.

This 2000 example remains in excellent condition. It shows a few dings on the top that become visible when they catch the light, along with some playwear on the pickguard and a small wood chip on the ebony bridge. The guitar comes with a TFOA Passport and a hardshell case.
