Visually, this 00042 is truly a feast for the eyes. The light binding contrasts beautifully with the dark rosewood, while the abalone snowflake inlay shines across the ebony fingerboard. The rosewood headstock overlay and the classic tortoise pickguard complete the classic Martin picture.

The graceful design and splendor of the 42 series add elegance to the classic sound of the East Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce scalloped X-braced top. The short scale length and a slim Modified Low Oval neck offer hours of comfort and playing pleasure, making it simply impossible to put this guitar down.

With its refined abalone inlay in the characteristic snowflake pattern on the fingerboard, the multi-stripe purfling, and the elegant 000 body shape, this model represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship. This 00042 from 2021 has a few dings on the top, along with some signs of wear and dings on the body and neck. There are some small scratches on the front of the headstock, but overall the guitar is in excellent condition.
