Martin 0018 Standard Refresh 2026

This 2026 Martin 0018 Standard is a trusted classic, loved for its balanced, timeless tone. Its comfortable Grand Concert body, solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides give it a focused voice with clear trebles and a warm low end, which makes it just as suited to intricate fingerstyle playing as to dynamic, expressive strumming.

The 0018 has been part of the Martin story for generations, and its combination of spruce and mahogany in a smaller body has long been a favourite of songwriters and fingerstyle players. In 2025 Martin refreshed its Standard Series to improve tone, comfort and looks. The guitars now feature Golden Era style top bracing for a vintage flavoured tone and sustain, along with a reimagined neck profile, a thinner fingerboard and a refined bridge and heel.

The mahogany back and sides give the guitar a punchy midrange and a warm, woody character, while the spruce top adds a bright, open treble response and plenty of projection for its size. The GE Modified Low Oval neck with its high performance taper and 24.9" scale feels slim and relaxed in the hand, and the shorter scale means a little less string tension, so bends and chord shapes feel easy. Ebony is used for the fingerboard, bridge and bridge pins, and with its aging toner on the top, black binding, abalone inlays and nickel open gear tuners, the 0018 has a beautifully classic look.

This 2026 0018 is in near mint condition and is truly very clean. The body shows only a few tiny scratches, and there are some small scratches on the headstock as well. It comes with a hardshell case.
