Martin D18 Reimagined 2023

This 2023 Martin D18 brings together everything players love about the model: an understated look and a voice that never goes out of style. Solid mahogany back and sides under a solid Sitka spruce top give it a warm, clear and powerful sound. It works just as well behind a singer songwriter as it does in a bluegrass jam.

The D18 has been one of the cornerstones of Martin's dreadnought range for generations. In 2018 Martin reimagined its Standard Series, refining the details of models such as the D18 while staying true to their roots. The result combines vintage inspired appointments with modern playability.

The mahogany back and sides give the D18 its warm, woody character with a strong, focused midrange, while the Sitka spruce top keeps the tone clear and articulate. Scalloped X bracing lets the top move freely for extra volume and resonance. The neck combines a modified low oval profile with Martin's High Performance Taper, which makes it comfortable to play all the way up the ebony fingerboard. Open gear tuners and tortoise binding give it a classic, timeless look.

This 2023 D18 is in excellent condition. It has clearly been played and the neck has started to gloss, which is completely normal with use. There are a few small dings and scratches on the neck, along with signs of play on the body and top. That playing time has not been for nothing. The guitar has opened up nicely and sounds beautiful as a result. It has also undergone a neck reset for an optimal setup. It comes with a TKL hardshell case and a TFOA Passport.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
