Music Man Majesty 6 Jester Red Spalted Maple BFR 2020

The Music Man Majesty 6 BFR is the signature model developed by Music Man in collaboration with John Petrucci, combining modern playability, versatile electronics, and a distinctive design. This 2020 model is part of the Ball Family Reserve series and features a particularly fine Jester Red Spalted Maple top. The curved body, carved maple top, and striking lines give the Majesty a unique character, while the sculpted neck joint and the deep recess at the back of the body ensure exceptionally comfortable access to the higher positions.

The neck is constructed from selected mahogany and features an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and a 17-inch radius. The combination of the fast neck shape and the long 25.5-inch scale length makes the Majesty particularly suitable for technical and expressive playing. The characteristic John Petrucci position inlays and the Majesty inlay on the first fret give the fingerboard a unique look. The hardware is also fully tuned to the design, featuring locking Schaller tuners, a custom Music Man tremolo, and a floating piezo system in the bridge for additional tonal possibilities.

The electronics make this Majesty particularly versatile. Two DiMarzio humbuckers provide a powerful, defined foundation with sufficient dynamics for both clean passages and heavy overdrive. The combination of a 3-way pickup switch, volume and tone controls, and the built-in piezo enables a wide range of sounds, while the push-push boost provides extra output for solos.

This Majesty is number 34 in the very limited series of only 60 units. The guitar has only extremely minimal signs of use on the control plates on the back of the body, but is otherwise indistinguishable from a new guitar.
