Santa Cruz Custom 000 12 Fret European Spruce Indian Rosewood 2023

The standard 000 model from Santa Cruz is already a truly exquisite guitar, but this Custom version takes things a step further with its unique specifications!

The 000 is the 12-fret predecessor to the OM model, distinguished by its appearance and unique sound. Extending the body up to the 12th fret results in a larger soundbox, which provides greater volume and an enhanced bass response. The slotted headstock not only offers a classic aesthetic but also reduces the mass of the neck; meanwhile, the steeper string angle increases pressure on the nut, resulting in greater sustain.

The Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a European spruce top. Both the body and neck feature ivoroid binding, with the body further adorned by herringbone purfling and an abalone rosette. In addition to mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays, the headstock showcases a stunning "Torch" inlay. The mahogany neck, shaped with a comfortable V-profile, is a joy to play and excels equally in fingerstyle and strumming applications.

Built in 2023, this guitar remains in near-mint condition. There are a few very faint scratches and a tiny dent on the back of the body. The pickguard shows minuscule signs of play, and the matte finish on the back of the neck has developed a slight sheen in certain areas due to use.
