The 2020 Stoney Creek Obsidian Semi-Hollow 12-String is a characterful 12-string that brings together traditional construction and modern finesse. The semi-hollow mahogany body with a flamed maple top delivers an open, sparkling resonance that perfectly complements the broad tonal range of a 12-string. The faded sunburst nitro finish and cream binding give the guitar a warm, classic look, whilst the instrument feels remarkably light and well-balanced.

The mahogany neck with a C-profile plays surprisingly comfortably for a 12-string. The ebony fingerboard, 12-inch radius and maple block inlays provide a tight, precise feel, with a nut that offers plenty of space without feeling bulky. The Apollo P90s add a lively, vintage-style punch to this, ranging from crystal-clear rhythms to a full, grainy drive when you crank them up. With the volume control, tone knob and three-way switch, the controls are intuitive and effective. Gotoh tuning machines, a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece keep the twelve strings neatly under control. 

The guitar shows slight signs of wear on the body and neck, along with a mark from a guitar hanger on both sides of the nut. Supplied with a TFOA certificate in a case.
