Waanders OM Cutaway Brazilian Adirondack 2019

Febo Waanders is a respected Dutch guitar builder based in the Overijssel village of Daarlerveen. Coming from a family of woodworkers, Febo was the first to combine this passion with his love for music. This resulted in an extraordinary talent for building guitars.

This Orchestra Model combines an Adirondack top with Brazilian rosewood back and sides. This classic combination gives this OM its great versatility. It produces a full and powerful sound when strumming chords, but it is when fingerpicking that the deep lows and shimmering highs truly come into their own. The wide string spacing of 59 mm makes it even more attractive as a fingerstyle instrument.

The mother-of-pearl inlay on the fretboard, along with herringbone purfling and rosette, complete this vintage-inspired instrument! The finish is also impeccable, and the precision down to the smallest details ensures that you can admire this Orchestra Model as a true work of art.

The guitar was built in 2019 and is in very good condition. Cracking has developed in the lacquer in several places on the top, along with light playing marks on the back and sides, including a small lacquer chip on the upper bout on the bass side. Otherwise, the guitar is exceptionally clean and comes in a case with CITES.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
