Eastman MD515V F-Style Mandolin Antique Classic Varnish

Although Eastman Guitars is currently a major player in the flat-top world, this was not always the case. The beginning of Eastman was building violins, on an exceptional level. This predilection is, next to the violins themselves, also found in the archtops and mandolins that the brand produces. 

The soundboard of the MD515/vis is made of solid, figured maple wood and matched with a maple neck. The ebony fingerboard features a classic dot inlay and the body features the adjustable ebony bridge and two F-holes, for a warm rich sound and excellent projection. Thanks to the Varnish finish, this instrument sounds even more resonant and rich, just like its violin brothers. Hard case included.
