Dit is de Martin 000-15M 14 fret. Wat anders is aan deze gitaar is dat de klankkast, bovenblad en hals compleet van echt mahonie zijn en niet van sapele. Een ander leuk detail is de palissander toets met Diamond & Square abalone motief is ingelegd, net als je ook ziet op de vintage series van Martin.
Verdere kwaliteitskenmerken zijn een benen topkam en zadel, mooie vintage stijl open stemmechanieken, vintage stijl rozet en kopplaat-decal CF Martin logo oude stijl, en de mooie bijpassende tortoise plastic slagplaat. Een warm klinkende persoonlijkheid die erg prettig speelt en ook on stage en in de studio zijn mannetje staat.
This is the new Martin 000-15M 14 fret. Different about this guitar is that body and neck are all solid real mahogany. Not sapele or a mahogany look-a-like, but the same wood used, just like back in the old days. Another nice detail is the rosewood fingerboard with diamond and square fretboard inlays, quality details like the bone nut and saddle are easy overlooked but very important for its good quality tone!
Interesting design looks are also found in the open back tuners with butterbean knobs, the small black and white multi-ply rosette, the old-style peghead decal and the beautiful matching tortoise pickguard.
