I'll spare you the story of how Hendrix and the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face came to be together, but what an impact it made and still makes with the plethora of beautiful and filthy tones 'they' made.

As the connoisseur knows, this Signature Fuzz Face is based on the 'silicon' version that Hendrix started using during his Electric Ladyland period. This version is better able to withstand temperature fluctuations and sounds a bit more raw.

This Hendrix Signature, like the original, has a bit more midrange which works very well with today's clean, scooped amps that many guitarists use nowadays. It works great with the volume knob so you can get those dreamy clean sounds too.

You'll still have to push it and get loud, but hey, it's a Hendrix pedal, what do you think?
