In 1995 the first Starplayer was built in the basement of an appartment house in the south city of Hannover. Being founded by Dieter Gölsdorf as a one-man-business, Duesenberg today has around 30 employees. Several relocations were made and they're still growing. Modern manufacturing techniques like the newest technology in CNC milling machine or the Plek fret dressing machine result in Duesenberg being a synonym around the world for best quality and workmanship.
The fascination for the 40's and 50's can be seen in the design of these instruments. The colours and shapes are plucked straight from the Art Deco movement. Duesenberg is already innovating the guitar industry in a classic design, but they aren't ready yet! There are still countless ideas and concepts in Dieter Gölsdorf's drawer that are waiting to be made.
