Gibson Pre-War SJ200 Rosewood Vintage Sunburst
The SJ200 is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever made. With this Pre-War, Gibson harks back to the start of the Super Jumbo era, when the guitar's body was made of rosewood. Despite the fact that the guitar later gained popularity with a maple body, the original models have never been forgotten and are still a sought-after object for collectors.
With a thermally aged red spruce top, the deep, full sound of this versatile instrument comes into its own beautifully. Due to the considerable size of the body, the guitar is able to produce a large volume in a balanced way; this is a guitar that definitely wants to be heard.
Other iconic elements are of course also present; the mustache bridge and beautiful inlaid pickguard that have characterized the SJ200 for so long. With a thin nitrocellulose finish, the instrument also has that vintage feel so apt for this beautiful tribute to the 'King of Flat tops'. Comes in a hardshell case.
