Not to long ago National introduced their new National Reso-Phonic “RAW” series! These bare-bones resonators are hand waxed with minimal finish and available in both steel and brass. But don't let the understated, raw looks fool you, these instrument were built with the same attention to detail we have come to expected from National. Designed for the musician looking for a raw & raspy sound and style!
This 12-fret Steel model boasts an all steel, raw finished body, single cone resonator with biscuit bridge, and chicken-feet coverplate. The tinted maple maple neck has the familiar National V shape which has been topped with a thick ebony fingerboard using pearl as dot position markers and a slotted headstock with 3-on-a-plate tuners. Includes sturdy National hardshell case.
