Introduced in 1976, the StingRay is regarded as one of the most iconic bass guitars in history, and was the first four-string production bass with built-in active EQ. The Stingray 5 was then unveiled in 1987 and has since become an industry standard for bass guitars.

Music Man Stingray 5 Special Faded Vintage Burst

​De StingRay is het vlaggenschip uit het assortiment van Music Man, en heeft dezelfde kenmerken die hij zo'n veertig jaar geleden al had. De solide roadworthy body met de iconische ovale slagplaat en immer populaire Music Man Humbucker zorgt voor een look, feel en geluid dat onmiskenbaar is! De sculpted neck joint biedt ongeremde toegang tot alle 22 roestvrijstalen frets op de geroosterde esdoorn hals. De verbeterde bodycontouren zijn afgerond voor meer comfort in elke speelpositie, met behoud van de iconische StingRay sound. 

De nieuwe en verbeterde pickups hebben krachtige magneten van neodymium waardoor de StingRay meer output en een bredere range aan geluiden krijgt. Met een nieuw ontworpen 18-volt 3-band preamp voor extra cleane headroom ben je tot alles in staat; van moderne punch tot klassieke, vintage tonen. 

Deze StingRay Special 5 is uitgevoerd in spectaculaire Faded Vintage Burst-finish en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een Mono Softshell case.

​The StingRay is the flagship of the Music Man line-up, and has the same features it had forty years ago. The solid roadworthy body with the iconic oval pickguard and ever-popular Music Man Humbucker provides a look, feel and sound that is unmistakable! The sculpted neck joint provides unhindered access to all 22 stainless steel frets on the roasted maple neck. The improved body contours are rounded for more comfort in every playing position, while maintaining the iconic StingRay sound.


The new and improved pickups have powerful neodymium magnets, giving the StingRay more output and a wider range of sounds. With a newly designed 18-volt 3-band preamp for extra clean headroom, you are capable of everything; from modern punch to classic, vintage tones.


This StingRay Special 5 is finished in a spectacular Faded Vintage Burst finish and comes with a TFOA passport in a Mono Softshell case.

Der solide, straßentaugliche Korpus mit dem kultigen ovalen Schlagbrett und dem allseits beliebten Music Man Humbucker sorgt für ein Aussehen, Gefühl und einen Klang, die unverwechselbar sind! Die geformte Halsverbindung bietet ungehinderten Zugang zu allen 22 Edelstahlbünden auf dem Hals aus geröstetem Ahorn. Die verbesserten Korpuskonturen sind abgerundet und sorgen so für mehr Komfort in jeder Spielposition, während der legendäre StingRay-Sound erhalten bleibt.


Die neuen und verbesserten Tonabnehmer verfügen über leistungsstarke Neodym-Magnete, die dem StingRay mehr Leistung und ein breiteres Klangspektrum verleihen. Mit einem neu entwickelten 18-Volt-3-Band-Vorverstärker für besonders sauberen Headroom sind Sie zu allem fähig; von modernem Punch bis hin zu klassischen Vintage-Tönen.


Dieser StingRay Special 5 hat ein spektakuläres Faded Vintage Burst-Finish und wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einer Mono-Softshell-Hülle geliefert.
