De Atkin OM is voor veel spelers een “verlaten eiland†gitaar; als ze er maar één moesten kiezen, is dit degene die het allemaal kan!
Het OM, of "Orchestra Model" combineert een volledige mensuur met een licht verkleinde body; hij is smaller en ondieper dan een "D"-stijl gitaar zoals de White Rice of Essential D. De uitdaging voor alle OM-bouwers is om een ​​rijke, indrukwekkende bas mogelijk te maken ondanks de kleinere, meer ergonomische body en hun 'hand-scalloped' bracing en gebakken Sitka-top stellen hen in staat om dit te realiseren.
