Die Custom 24 ist die ultimative PRS-Gitarre. Dieses ikonische Instrument war das erste Modell, das Paul Reed Smith 1985 auf der ersten Winter-NAMM-Messe von PRS Guitars der Öffentlichkeit vorstellte, und ist seitdem ein Topmodell. Deze PRS Wood Library Custom 24 uit 2010 is een waar pronkstuk met zijn adembenemende Charcoal Burst finish over gevlamd esdoorn. De Wood Library serie vertegenwoordigt het beste wat PRS te bieden heeft qua houtselectie, en dit exemplaar toont dat met zijn prachtig gematched gevlamde esdoorn headstock en scraped binding. Het hart van deze Custom 24 wordt gevormd door de 57/08 pickups, die de warmte van vintage PAF's combineren met moderne helderheid en definitie. De palissander hals biedt een luxueuze speelervaring met uitstekende sustain en een rijke, volle toon die perfect complementeert met de mahonie body. De scraped binding geeft de gitaar een verfijnde vintage uitstraling, terwijl de PRS tremolo met locking tuners zorgt voor ongekende stemstabiliteit. De gitaar is in 2010 gebouwd in opdracht van Voerman in Amersfoort, en de gitaar verkeert in zeer goede conditie. Hij heeft door de jaren heen speelsporen en wat dings verzameld, met ook wat afgebladderde lak rondom de strap button op de bovenste hoorn. Op de achterzijde vinden we ook wat lichte buckle wear, maar dat neemt niet weg dat deze Custom 24 over de wow-factor beschikt die we zo goed kennen van PRS!

The guitar was built in 2010 by order of Voerman in Amersfoort, and the guitar is in very good condition. It has collected playwear and some dings over the years, with also some flaked off lacquer around the strap button on the upper horn. On the back we also find some light buckle wear, but that does not take away from the fact that this Custom 24 has the wow-factor that we know so well from PRS!

Die Gitarre wurde 2010 im Auftrag von Voerman in Amersfoort gebaut und befindet sich in sehr gutem Zustand. Sie weist im Laufe der Jahre Spielspuren und einige Dellen auf, außerdem ist der Lack um den Gurtknopf am oberen Horn abgeplatzt. Auf der Rückseite finden sich zudem leichte Abnutzungsspuren an der Schnalle, was aber nichts daran ändert, dass diese Custom 24 den Wow-Faktor hat, den wir von PRS so gut kennen!
