TaylorSense is een slimme 'battery box' die is uitgerust met detectietechnologie die de vochtigheid, temperatuur, levensduur van de batterij en impactincidenten van je Taylor-gitaar bewaakt. De battery box vervangt een bestaande battery box op Taylor-gitaren met een van de volgende ingebouwde pickups met een 9V-batterij: Expression System 1 of 2, ES-T of ES-N.

Naast het bijhouden van de conditie van de gitaar, gebruikt TaylorSense energiezuinige Bluetooth om de gegevens van je gitaar naar de gratis TaylorSense mobiele app te sturen, beschikbaar voor zowel iOS- als Android-apparaten, die pushmeldingen stuurt wanneer de gitaar onderhoud nodig heeft.
