Toen Paul Reed Smith onlangs onze winkel bezocht, viel zijn oog op een Private Stock Collection Grand-gitaar die we als New Old Stock kregen van de distributeur in Japan. Hij was zo onder de indruk van de klank en het karakter van deze gitaar, die eigenlijk al jaren onbespeeld is gebleven, dat deze Collection Grand nu zijn weg terug heeft gevonden naar Maryland in de handen van Mr. P.R.S. zichzelf!
We zijn er zeker van dat Paul deze New Old Stock uit Japan ook erg indrukwekkend zou vinden! Dit is een Tonare Grand-model met Afrikaans blackwood achterkant en zijkanten en een prachtig Europees 'bearclaw' sparren bovenblad versierd met curly koa binding en abalone purfling.
Hij heeft een bijna Europees karakter, zoals Lowden of McIlroy, met een geweldige definitie maar met het warme en ronder hoog vergelijkbaar met gitaren van James Olson of Kevin Ryan. Dankzij de diepe body en PRS' akoestische pickupsysteem is deze gitaar zeer veelzijdig en perfect voor alles van fingerpicking, droptunings en strumming.
Inclusief een Ameritage koffer met specificatielijst.
When Paul Reed Smith visited our store the other day, his eyes fell on a Private Stock Collection Grand guitar which we got as a New Old Stock from the distributor in Japan. He was so impressed by the tone and character of this guitar that has basically been laying around untouched for years, it has now found its way back to Maryland in the hands of Mr. P.R.S. himself!
We are certain that Paul would approve of this New Old Stock from Japan as well! This is a Tonare Grand model with African blackwood back and sides and a beautiful European bearclaw spruce top adorned with curly koa binding and abalone purfling.
It has an almost European character, like Lowden or McIlroy, with great definition but with the warm and round high end similar to guitars by James Olson or Kevin Ryan. Thanks to the deep body and Acoustic Pickup System, this guitar is very versatile and perfect for anything from fingerpicking, droptunings, and strumming.
Includes an Ameritage case with specifications sheet.
