De bekroonde Hot Cat-versterker werd in 2005 geïntroduceerd met groot succes. Hoe tevreden ze ook zijn met het origineel, de tijd is gekomen voor een geheel nieuwe Hot Cat. Bad Cat nam alles wat ze de afgelopen 20 jaar hebben geleerd en paste het toe op deze grenzeloze heruitvinding van de Hot Cat.
Deze tweekanaalsversterker wordt nu geleverd met twee versterkingsmodi per kanaal. De Hot Cat biedt vrijwel onbeperkte versterkingscombinaties, reverb van studiokwaliteit en een geheel nieuwe, volledig gebufferde effects loop.
Kanaal 1 heeft de kenmerkende sprankelende zuivere klank van Bad Cat met briljante hoge en volle lage tonen. Kanaal 2 is een vlammend high-gain kanaal met buitengewone snaar-tot-snaar nootdefinitie en rijke harmonische inhoud. In kanaal 2 kun je nu schakelen tussen twee verschillende opties, van crunchy blues tot metal.
