Meer dan 30 jaar geleden werd het handelsmerk Lakewood geboren. Oprichter en ervaren gitaarbouwer Martin Seeliger vond de naam op een kaart in de buurt van Lake Erie en maakte het tot zijn merknaam, en hiermee werd de eerste hoeksteen voor het succes gelegd.
Deze Lakewood M50 Custom maakt gebruik van een Grand Concert klankkast gemaakt van overweldigend mooi gevlamd esdoorn, gecombineerd met een eveneens prachtig AAAA Europees bear claw sparren bovenblad. De hals is voorzien van een comfortabel C-profiel en is gemaakt van mahonie met daarbij een ebben toets met abalone cirkel-inleg.
Nog een custom kenmerk van deze M50 is de mooie 'Honey Dye' gloss finish op zowel de klankkast als hals. De palissander binding, ebbenhouten kopplaat en abalone rozet maken de sierlijke uitstraling compleet. De klank is uiteraard fenomenaal goed, de Grand Concert-bodyvorm heeft ruim voldoende volume en een breed, gebalanceerd en rijk klankpalet geschikt voor een veelvoud aan speelstijlen.
De gitaar wordt geleverd inclusief Hiscox koffer en certificaat van echtheid.
More than 30 years ago, the Lakewood trademark was born. Founder and experienced luthier Martin Seeliger found the name on a map near Lake Erie and made it his brand name, laying the first cornerstone for success.
This Lakewood M50 Custom uses a Grand Concert body made of overwhelmingly beautiful flamed maple, combined with an equally beautiful AAAA European bear claw spruce top. The neck features a comfortable C-profile and is made of mahogany topped with an ebony fingerboard with abalone circle inlay.
Another custom feature of this M50 is the beautiful 'Honey Dye' gloss finish on both the body and neck. The rosewood binding, ebony headstock overlay and abalone rosette complete the graceful look. The sound is obviously phenomenally good; the Grand Concert body shape has ample volume and a wide, balanced and rich sound palette suitable for a multitude of playing styles.
The guitar comes complete with Hiscox case and certificate of authenticity.

Eine weitere Besonderheit dieser M50 ist die wunderschöne Honey Dye"-Glanzlackierung von Korpus und Hals. Das Palisander-Binding, die Ebenholz-Kopfplattenauflage und die Abalone-Rosette vervollständigen den eleganten Look. Der Klang ist natürlich phänomenal gut; die Grand-Concert-Korpusform hat reichlich Volumen und eine breite, ausgewogene und reiche Klangpalette, die für eine Vielzahl von Spielweisen geeignet ist.
Die Gitarre wird komplett mit Hiscox-Koffer und Echtheitszertifikat geliefert.
