Niet al te lang geleden introduceerde National een nieuwe serie, de National Reso-Phonic "Raw" gitaren. Deze bare-bones resonators zijn met de hand gewaxt en hebben minimale finish, beschikbaar in zowel staal als messing. The tinted maple neck has the familiar National V shape with a thick ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers, slotted headstock and 3-on-a-plate tuners. Includes deluxe National hardshell case.

Dieses 12-Bund-Stahlmodell verfügt über einen Korpus aus Messing mit „rohem“ Finish, einen Einzelkegelresonator mit Biscuit-Steg und eine Chicken-Feet-Abdeckplatte. Der getönte Ahornhals hat die bekannte National-V-Form und ist mit einem dicken Griffbrett aus Ebenholz mit Positionsmarkierungen in Perlmuttpunkten, einer geschlitzten Kopfplatte und 3-auf-einer-Platte-Stimmgeräten versehen.
