De Lowden 50 Series is het allerbeste wat Lowden te bieden heeft, het neusje van de spreekwoordelijke zalm, en dat geldt uiteraard ook voor dit specifieke instrument. Deze custom gebouwde F-50c gebruikt uniek en spectaculair Mastergrade African Blackwood voor de achterkant en zijkanten in combinatie met een Master Grade Adirondack sparren bovenblad. De body is smaakvol afgewerkt met koa bindingen en prachtige details zoals de meervoudige 50 series klankgatring van abalone en koa.
De 5-delige mahonie/palissander hals met GL-standard vorm ontmoet de body bij de 14e fret, terwijl de met ebben en esdoorn ombonden ebben toets haar weg vervolgt over het bovenblad tot ze het klankgat ontmoet met een prachtige welving. De ebben kopplaat vormt een mooie tegenstelling met de gouden Gotoh 510 stemmechanieken, en de prachtige palissander brug past perfect bij het sparren bovenblad.
De typische herkenbare piano-achtige Lowden klank is zeer goed te onderscheiden door het unieke warme, gedefinieerde en rijke klank-pallet van het African Blackwood. Zeer geschikt voor fingerstyle en alternatieve stemmingen zoals alle Lowdens, een instrument van wereldklasse. Niet alleen een geweldig goed klinkende Lowden, maar een feest voor het oog!

This custom built F-50c uses unique and spectacular Mastergrade African Blackwood for the back and sides combined with a Master Grade Adirondack spruce top. The body is tastefully finished with koa bindings and beautiful details such as the multiple 50 series sound hole ring made of abalone and koa.
The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck with GL-standard shape meets the body at the 14th fret, while the ebony and maple bound ebony fingerboard continues up the top until it meets the soundhole with a beautiful curve. The ebony headstock overlay contrasts nicely with the gold Gotoh 510 tuners, and the beautiful rosewood bridge complements the spruce top perfectly.
The typical recognizable piano-like Lowden sound is very well distinguishable by the unique warm, defined and rich sound palette of the African Blackwood.
