De Martin Custom Shop is voor de veeleisende gitarist die totale controle wil over alle specificaties en het uiterlijk van zijn instrument. De detaillering van deze instrumenten is van het hoogste niveau en het speelgevoel op een Custom Martin is simpelweg onvervangbaar.
Deze linkshandige 0017 dankt zijn naam aan de 00-vormige mahoniehouten achter- en zijkanten, die gepaard gaat met een mahoniehouten bovenblad. Dit is echter bepaald geen standaard Martin. Deze Custom Shop gitaar heeft het Authentic upgrade pakket wat inhoudt dat hij een volledige hide-glue constructie heeft met een T-bar in de hals, wat de Pre-war gitaren grotendeels zo geweldig laat klinken.
Bovendien heeft de Custom Shop enkele kleine details toegevoegd om het ingetogen Style 17-ontwerp een stuk chiquer te maken. De body is versierd met palissanderhouten bindingen, meerlaagse purfling en rozet, en de achterkant is voorzien van een prachtige 'Zipper'-backstrip. De piramidebrug en toets zijn gemaakt van ebbenhout, waarvan de laatste gouden frets heeft en eindigt met een Gibson-achtig toetsuiteinde aan de bovenkant.
Deze Martin werd in 2012 gebouwd, en verkeert in excellente conditie. Op de body en hals zijn lichte speelsporen en enkele oppervlakkige dings te vinden, en bij de endpin is er op een plek wat lucht onder de lak gekomen. De gitaar is echter zeer schoon en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in de originele Martin Custom Shop-koffer van TKL.
The Martin Custom Shop is for the discerning guitarist who wants total control over all the specifications and appearance of his instrument. The detailing of these instruments is of the highest level and the playing feeling on a Custom Martin is simply irreplaceable.
This left-handed 0017 gets its name from the 00-shaped mahogany back and sides, which is paired with a mahogany top. However, this is certainly not a standard Martin. This Custom Shop guitar has the Authentic upgrade package which means it has a full hide-glue construction with a T-bar in the neck, which is largely what makes the Pre-war guitars sound so great.
Additionally, the Custom Shop added some small details to make the understated Style 17 design a lot more chic. The body is decorated with rosewood binding, multi-layer purfling and rosette, and the back features a beautiful 'Zipper' backstrip. The pyramid bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony, the latter of which has gold frets and ends with a Gibson-style fingerboard end at the top.
This Martin was built in 2012 and is in excellent condition. There are light playwear and some superficial dings on the body and neck, and some air has gotten under the paint in one place near the endpin. However, the guitar is very clean and comes with TFOA passport in the original Martin Custom Shop hardshell case from TKL.

Diese Custom Shop-Gitarre verfügt über das Authentic-Upgrade-Paket, das heißt, sie verfügt über eine Vollhautklebekonstruktion mit einem T-Steg im Hals, was vor allem den großartigen Klang der Vorkriegsgitarren ausmacht.

Dieser Martin wurde 2012 gebaut und ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Es gibt leichte Spielspuren und einige oberflächliche Beulen am Korpus und am Hals, und an einer Stelle in der Nähe des Stachels ist etwas Luft unter den Lack gelangt. Allerdings ist die Gitarre sehr sauber und kommt mit TFOA-Pass im originalen Martin Custom Shop Hartschalenkoffer von TKL.
