De populaire cutaway Grand Auditorium verleidt spelers van alle stijlen met een gebalanceerd geluid en andere kenmerken, te beginnen met de klassieke houtcombinatie van massief palissander en Sitka sparren.
De gitaar wordt nu aangedreven door Taylor's bekroonde V-Class interne bracing, die niet alleen de intonatie verbetert met meer volume, sustain en projectie, maar ook de intonatie langs de hele toets verbetert, wat meer helderheid, consistentie en harmonische overeenstemming tussen noten oplevert. Het resultaat is dat de volle-spectrum stem van palissander, met rijke boventonen, een nog aangenamer high-fidelity geluid krijgt dat zich vertaalt in een meer expressieve respons. Het is een fantastische gitaar voor vrijwel elke toepassing.
De afwerking zorgt voor een smaakvolle balans tussen stijl en terughoudendheid, met witte binding, Renaissance toets/peghead inleg in Italiaans acryl en een body in hoogglans. De gitaar heeft een Expression System 2 element, Venetiaanse cutaway en wordt geleverd met een Taylor koffer.
