De American Professional II Jazzmaster put uit meer dan zestig jaar innovatie, inspiratie en evolutie om te voldoen aan de eisen van de hedendaagse speler.
De populaire diepe "C"-hals heeft nu gladde opgerolde toetsranden, een "Super-Natural" satin afwerking en een nieuw gevormde hielvoor een uiterst comfortabel gevoel en gemakkelijke toegang tot het bovenste register. Nieuwe V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups zijn meer gearticuleerd dan ooit en leveren de sprankeling en het geluid waar de Jazzmaster bekend om staat. De brug pickup heeft een tapfunctie die zowel een krachtig, keelachtig geluid als een vintage geluid met een lagere output mogelijk maakt.
Met een druk op de knop zet het ritmecircuit beide pickups in serie voor een dikkere toon met verhoogde output, geregeld door onafhankelijke volume- en toonrollerpots. Het nieuwe Panorama Tremolo-systeem met pop-in tremolo-arm vergroot het beschikbare vibrato aanzienlijk, waardoor diepe duiken in Strat-stijl mogelijk zijn, naast de klassieke Jazzmaster-warble.

The popular Deep "C” neck now sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a “Super-Natural” satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a supremely comfortable feel and easy access to the upper register. New V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups are more articulate than ever while delivering the sparkle and chime the Jazzmaster is known for. The bridge pickup has a tap function that allows both a powerful, throaty sound or a lower-output vintage sound.
At the flip of a switch, the rhythm circuit puts both pickups in series for a thicker tone with increased output, controlled by independent volume and tone roller pots. The new Panorama Tremolo system with pop-in tremolo arm dramatically increases the range of vibrato available, allowing for deep, Strat-style dives, in addition to classic Jazzmaster warble.
