PRS Studio Yellow Tiger 2021
De PRS Studio is een moderne interpretatie van de klassieke combinatie van twee single coils en een humbucker. De twee Narrowfield-elementen in de hals- en middenpositie zijn ontworpen om de helderheid en sprankeling van een goede single coil te leveren, maar dan met de volle klank en het ruisvrije karakter van een humbucker. In combinatie met een 58/15 LT humbucker in de brugpositie levert de Studio alles van krachtige single coil-klanken tot vintage-achtige scooped sounds en dikke humbucker-drive.
Dankzij de vijfstandenschakelaar en push/pull-functie op de toonregeling biedt deze gitaar maar liefst zeven verschillende pickupcombinaties. Hierdoor is de Studio extreem veelzijdig en ideaal voor gitaristen die op het podium én in de studio niets tekort willen komen.
Deze uitvoering heeft een mahonie body met een flamed maple top in een opvallende Yellow Tiger afwerking. De mahonie hals met Pattern-profiel en een palissander toets zorgen voor het speelgevoel waar PRS om bekend staat. Dankzij de eigen PRS Patented Tremolo en Phase III locking tuners blijft de stemming altijd stabiel, klaar voor je volgende riff of solo.
Deze Studio is gebouwd in 2021 en toont een fraaie craquelé in de lak, iets wat zelden voorkomt bij PRS. Op de achterkant zijn enkele krasjes zichtbaar, maar de gitaar verkeert nog steeds in zeer goede staat.
