In samenwerking met Ryan en inlegkunstenaar Larry Robinson hebben we deze Paradiso ter ere van ons 20-jarig jubileum in 2021 laten maken. De kers op de taart is de ingewikkelde en delicate 'Kingfisher'-inleg, die de ijsvogels voorstelt die rond de vijver en door het park vliegen, achter het gebouw waar TFOA is gevestigd.
De adembenemend mooie Quilted mahonie vormt de achterkant en zijkanten van de body, die is afgewerkt met een prachtig sparrenhouten bovenblad. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een uitstekende balans, superieure klankscheiding, indrukwekkende helderheid en dynamiek. Deze houtsoorten werden persoonlijk door Coen zelf uitgekozen tijdens een bezoek aan de werkplaats van Ryan!
Uiteraard is deze gitaar ook voorzien van Ryans kenmerkende constructiemethoden, zoals de 'Laser Cut'-versteviging, de 'Honeycomb'-brugplaat en het 'micro-verstelbare Truss Rod System'. Daarnaast maken de inlays van 'blauwe paua' op de kop, rozet, brug en rondom de body het spectaculaire uiterlijk compleet! De gitaar heeft lichte speelsporen verzameld, en de center seam van het bovenblad is opengegaan. Aan de binnenzijde van de klankkast zijn cleats aangebracht om dit te stabiliseren, maar de seam is nog wel goed voelbaar.
De gitaar reist in een Calton-koffer met TFOA-paspoort.
In collaboration with Ryan and inlay artist Larry Robinson, we commissioned this Paradiso to celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2021. The icing on the cake is the intricate and delicate Kingfisher inlay, depicting the kingfishers flying around the pond and through the park behind the TFOA building.
The breathtakingly beautiful Quilted Mahogany forms the back and sides of the body, which is topped with a magnificent spruce top. This combination provides excellent balance, superior tonal separation, impressive clarity, and dynamics. These woods were personally selected by Coen during a visit to Ryan's workshop!
Naturally, this guitar also features Ryan's signature construction methods, such as laser-cut bracing, a honeycomb bridge plate, and a micro-adjustable truss rod system. Blue paua inlays on the headstock, rosette, bridge, and around the body complete the spectacular look! The guitar has accumulated light playwear, and the center seam of the top has opened. Cleats have been added to the inside of the body to stabilize this, but the seam is still clearly noticeable.
The guitar travels in a Calton hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
In Zusammenarbeit mit Ryan und dem Intarsienkünstler Larry Robinson haben wir diese Paradiso anlässlich unseres 20-jährigen Jubiläums im Jahr 2021 in Auftrag gegeben. Das absolute Highlight ist die kunstvolle und filigrane Eisvogel-Intarsie, die die Eisvögel zeigt, die über den Teich und durch den Park hinter dem TFOA-Gebäude fliegen.
Der Korpus besteht aus atemberaubend schönem, gestepptem Mahagoni, das von einer prächtigen Fichtendecke gekrönt wird. Diese Kombination sorgt für eine exzellente Balance, hervorragende Klangtrennung, beeindruckende Klarheit und Dynamik. Die Hölzer wurden von Coen persönlich bei einem Besuch in Ryans Werkstatt ausgewählt!
Selbstverständlich verfügt diese Gitarre auch über Ryans charakteristische Konstruktionsmethoden, wie lasergeschnittene Verstrebungen, eine wabenförmige Stegplatte und ein mikrojustierbares Halsstabsystem. Blaue Paua-Intarsien an Kopfplatte, Rosette, Steg und Korpus runden das spektakuläre Erscheinungsbild ab! Die Gitarre weist leichte Gebrauchsspuren auf, und die Mittelnaht der Decke hat sich geöffnet. Zur Stabilisierung wurden im Inneren des Korpus Leisten angebracht, die Naht ist aber weiterhin deutlich sichtbar.
Die Gitarre wird in einem Calton-Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass transportiert.
