De American Ultra Stratocaster HSS heeft een uniek "Modern D" profiel met een afgeronde toets voor uren aan speelcomfort, daarnaast biedt de taps toelopende hiel eenvoudige toegang tot de hoogste frets. De toets heeft een 10-14" compound radius en 22 medium-jumbo frets, terwijl de Ultra Noiseless Hot Single Coil pickups en Ultra Double Tap humbuckers samen met de geavanceerde bedrading eindeloze klankmogelijkheden biedt - zonder bijgeluiden (hum).
