De PRS Custom 22 is al jaren een van de meest geliefde elektrische gitaren in het PRS-assortiment, en de P22 is de logische volgende stap: hetzelfde vertrouwde platform, maar dan uitgebreid met een geïntegreerd piezosysteem. Het piezosysteem is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met LR Baggs en zit verwerkt in de wraparound brug. Met een simpele toggle switch schakel je tussen de magnetische humbuckers en de piezo-uitgang, of je combineert beide voor een gelaagd geluid. De twee PRS P22 humbuckers zorgen voor een warme, dynamische elektrische toon, terwijl de piezo een overtuigende akoestische klankkleur toevoegt die je direct naar een heel ander muzikaal territorium brengt. De P22 zijn in feite 57/08 humbuckers die zo gewonden zijn dat ze niet uit fase zijn met de piezo-pickup. De 5-weg schakelaar geeft daarbij nog eens extra klankopties, waardoor je met één gitaar een enorme variatie aan geluiden kunt bereiken.
Dit exemplaar is uitgevoerd met een gevlamd esdoorn 10 Top in Gray Black, een finish die de vlammende tekening van het hout prachtig laat uitkomen. De mahonie body en hals zorgen voor warmte en body in de toon, terwijl het Pattern Regular halsprofiel comfortabel in de hand ligt voor lange speelsessies.
Deze PRS P22 Custom uit 2013 heeft wat krasjes en enkele kleine dings op de top, een ding op de zijkant van de body bij de outputs met daarbij ook lichte krasjes op de achterzijde van de body en de backplate. De gitaar is over het geheel gezien echter zeer netjes, en wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met TFOA paspoort.
The piezo system, developed in collaboration with LR Baggs, is integrated into the wraparound bridge. A simple toggle switch allows you to switch between the magnetic humbuckers and the piezo output, or combine both for a layered sound. The two PRS P22 humbuckers deliver a warm, dynamic electric tone, while the piezo adds a compelling acoustic timbre that instantly transports you to entirely different musical territory. The P22 is essentially 57/08 humbuckers wound so that they are not out of phase with the piezo pickup. The 5-way switch also provides additional tonal options, allowing you to achieve a huge variety of sounds with a single guitar.
This example features a flamed maple 10 Top in Gray Black, a finish that beautifully highlights the wood's flame-like grain. The mahogany body and neck provide warmth and body to the tone, while the Pattern Regular neck profile is comfortable in the hand for long playing sessions.
This 2013 PRS P22 Custom has some scratches and a few small dings on the top, a ding on the side of the body near the output jacks, and light scratches on the back of the body and the backplate. Overall, however, the guitar is in very good condition and comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.

Dieses Exemplar verfügt über eine geflammte Ahorndecke (10 Top) in Grau-Schwarz, deren Lackierung die flammenartige Maserung des Holzes wunderschön zur Geltung bringt. Korpus und Hals aus Mahagoni verleihen dem Klang Wärme und Fülle, während das Pattern Regular Halsprofil auch bei längeren Spielsessions angenehm in der Hand liegt.
Diese PRS P22 Custom aus dem Jahr 2013 weist einige Kratzer und kleine Dellen auf der Decke, eine Delle an der Seite des Korpus in der Nähe der Ausgangsbuchsen sowie leichte Kratzer auf der Rückseite und der Abdeckplatte auf. Insgesamt befindet sich die Gitarre jedoch in einem sehr guten Zustand und wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
