Martin introduceerde de Performing Artist-serie als antwoord op de groeiende vraag van gitaristen die een instrument zoeken dat zowel akoestisch als versterkt uitstekend presteert. De GPCPA4 combineert de gebalanceerde Grand Auditorium bodyvorm met een sapele klankkast en sparren bovenblad. Deze houtcombinatie levert een warme, gebalanceerde klank met goede projectie, waarbij sapele zorgt voor een iets helderder karakter dan mahonie. Het High Performance Taper halsprofiel en de smallere halsdikte maken deze gitaar bijzonder toegankelijk voor spelers die veel bewegen tussen akkoorden en solo's.
Deze Martin is gebouwd in 2011, en verkeert in zeer goede conditie. De gitaar heeft speelsporen en dings op het bovenblad en de klankkast, net als op de hals. De matte lak van de klankkast en hals is grotendeels glanzend geworden, en het valt op dat het brugzadel wat aan de lage kant. Wel is de gitaar prima bespeelbaar, en klaar voor een nieuw avontuur!
Martin introduced the Performing Artist series in response to the growing demand from guitarists seeking an instrument that performs superbly both acoustically and amplified. The GPCPA4 combines the balanced Grand Auditorium body shape with sapele back and sides and a spruce top. This wood combination delivers a warm, balanced tone with good projection, with sapele providing a slightly brighter character than mahogany. The High Performance Taper neck profile and narrower neck thickness make this guitar particularly accessible for players who frequently move between chords and solos.
This Martin was built in 2011 and is in excellent condition. The guitar has playwear and dings on the top and back and sides, as well as on the neck. The matte finish on the body and neck has largely faded to a gloss, and it's noticeable that the bridge saddle is a bit low. However, the guitar is perfectly playable and ready for a new adventure!

Die GPCPA4 kombiniert die ausgewogene Grand Auditorium-Korpusform mit Boden und Zargen aus Sapele und einer Fichtendecke. Diese Holzkombination liefert einen warmen, ausgewogenen Ton mit guter Projektion, wobei Sapele einen etwas helleren Charakter als Mahagoni beisteuert. Das High Performance Taper-Halsprofil und die geringere Halsdicke machen diese Gitarre besonders geeignet für Spieler, die häufig zwischen Akkorden und Soli wechseln.
Diese Martin wurde 2011 gebaut und befindet sich in einem exzellenten Zustand. Die Gitarre weist Gebrauchsspuren und kleinere Dellen auf Decke, Boden, Zargen und Hals auf. Die matte Lackierung von Korpus und Hals ist größtenteils zu einem Glanz verblasst, und es fällt auf, dass der Steg etwas zu niedrig sitzt. Die Gitarre ist jedoch einwandfrei spielbar und bereit für ein neues Abenteuer!
