Over the decades, the Martin OM45 was never a standard model and mostly limited to special runs and custom orders. As a result, only a few pieces are made per year and are therefore rare. Built with the finest tonewoods, this Martin 45 model is a top notch instrument in both looks and sound.
The Madagascar rosewood back and sides and Adirondack spruce top are richly decorated with abalone purflings and the ebony fingerboard features abalone hexagon inlays. Tonally, the guitar falls exactly where you want it: a full sound with articulate highs and a big, warm bass.
This 2013 Martin OM45 Custom Shop is still in excellent condition. Two dings can be seen on the top, and the pickguard shows light playwear. There is also a ding in the lacquer on the back of the body, along with some hairlines. However, the guitar is very clean and comes in a hardshell case.
